General - Items

You use the Items option under the GENERAL menu to search for items (materials). Currently, you can search for items by item number. You can view item details including the item description, sales units, retail price and stock on hand.

To search for an item:

1. From the Micronet Mobile Applications main menu, select the GENERAL menu.

2. Select the Items option.

Micronet displays the Items screen.

3. You can scroll through the items displayed by dragging up or down on the screen with your finger or the stylus.
4. To find a specific item, tap in the enter field at the top left of the screen.

Micronet displays the screen keyboard. For more information about using the screen keyboard, refer to "Using the Screen Keyboard".

5. Enter the item ID, or the first character(s) in the item ID, then select the Search button.

Micronet displays all items matching the characters you entered.

6. Tap on an item to view more details for that item or to select the item.
7. If you want to view further item details, select the Details button.

Micronet displays the Item Details screen.

8. Scroll down the page to view alternate supplier information.

9. Optionally, you can:

• tap the supplier's phone number to call that number - refer to "Making Phone Calls"
• tap the supplier's web address to view that website
• tap the supplier's street address to navigate to that address - refer to "Navigating to an Address".

4. Select Back to redisplay the Items screen.

5. To search for another item, tap in the enter field again, use the backspace key on the screen keyboard to clear the characters you entered, and enter your new search.
6. When you have finished viewing item details, select Back at the top of the Items screen.

Micronet redisplays the GENERAL menu.
